Comfy & cool, but not as easy on/off as ErgoReview by vegan mamma
Rating I adore this carrier. The 100% cotton fabric is beautiful, comfortable, washable & breathable, which is essential on hot days. You can use many carries (front, back, hip, baby's legs in/out, baby facing in/out), and the straps can be tied in many ways for your & baby's comfort.
MAIN ADVANTAGES:
Easy to learn. Easy to use. Can put on without assistance. Versatile carries and ties. Good in most weather -- on hot days I dress baby lightly or just in a diaper and sun hat. Pocket on main body fits enough baby gear to go out without bag for shorter trips. Long life of product (made well, and can use from infant to toddler). Can flip up bottom to make main body shorter for smaller infants. Comfortable -- weight is well distributed on both sides over back, shoulders & hips. Can wear straps over shoulders (better weight distribution) or scrunched like back pack straps (better if you need to move arms up, like putting away dishes on tall shelf). Reasonably priced -- especially if you buy one of the discontinued fabrics from the manufacturer. Same size can be used for many body types/sizes.
MAIN DISADVANTAGES:
Not good for rainy days -- tails will get wet when going on and off unless you are very careful. Not as quick to put on as Ergo or other carrier with buckles. Can't nurse in it easily. Can only nurse vertically (that I've found). Not as quick on and off as a structured carrier with buckles. Not as cool on hot days as most slings. When off it takes up a lot of space in your bag (other similar styles will too -- if it's an issue, go with a sling). No bells & whistles that some other carriers have (e.g. back pack attachment, sleep hood, toy strap, etc.)
