Rating i was a little worried when i started checking out carriers as i'm a larger woman, and i registered for this based on the look and style after not having great luck with the ones i found in stores. i was very happy when it arrived at my shower and i could get it on with room to spare. when baby arrived i found it very comfortable and liked that i could put her face in or face out. she's now almost a year old and i use it every day for our morning walks; fortunately she's small (still under 17 lbs) so i'm happy to see we'll get many more months of use out of it. this carrier is very easy to get on and off by myself (i've tried the ergo many times and just can't get the hang of it, plus she hates not being able to face out) and it's much less bulky and frankly more comfortable than the baby bjorn (although i did use that for the first 2 months because she was so very small and it provided her with more support). i highly recommend this carrier to everyone!

Rating I first used a Snugli until my baby hit 11 pounds. That's when I started having upper back pain (despite walking with him daily). I read about the Belle and went to purchase one at the store. The cherry deco is stylish like a purse. It's comfortable and now at 20 plus pounds I could still tote him for a couple hours with no problem. When worn correctly the weight settles on your hips and not your back or shoulders. I highly recommend this product!

Rating I found this when others complained that the bjorn caused a lot of lower back pain/discomfort. This is very supportive with a waist level belt, super soft, and easy to use. Sounds similar to the Ergo, though I have not seen/used that product. I have only used the Belle with my newborn/infant and not for more than 30 minutes or so at a time, but I can't wait for DD to get bigger so we can use it more.
