I just ordered this carrier two weeks ago and can't seem to go anywhere without it. I searched high and low for organic baby carriers that were ergonomic and specifically designed for younger babies. After trying 3 (Ergo, Bjorn and Baby Hawk) this is by far the winner!!! My daughter fits perfectly into it and she nestles against me and seems so content. I had troubles initially nursing in it, however, now I've got it down pat and can nurse without much effort. I love that this carrier is made in the US as well - nothing like creating jobs!

Ok, I'm off to walk the dog and enjoy some quality time with my daughter in the Belle!

Answer	:	Belle carriers are machine washable, although hand-washing, delicate cycles and/or front loading machines will increase the life of your carrier. Cold water is preferred and the carriers should be line-dried.
